To do so substitute 1 x 6 treated boards for the tongue and groove cedar boards. We show this deck box built from cedar with a stain finish. Build the front and back components out of 2 2 lumber and the sides out of 1 2 lumber. This involves cutting the end stiles and rails the front stiles and rails and drilling pocket holes.

Use quality materials and always take accurate measurement before cutting the components at the right size.
