I partnered with minwax and jet to show how to make a picture frame 3 different ways.
Build your own picture frame wood.
Width width of picture 2 x width of mat 2 x width of frame 3 4.
Each pair includes two wood frame sections and two plastic wedges.
One frame is made out of two frame pairs.
I use the miter saw handheld router table saw and router table.
Align the four outer trim pieces you previously cut.
See the framing4yourself power miter saw package.
Install an 80 tooth carbide blade in your power saw.
First you need the dimensions of the picture you want to frame then the width of the mat you want around the picture and lastly the width you want your frame to be.
Create your own custom sized frame with two frame pairs.
Lay the inner frame on top this to raise the inner frame up and create the offset that will be needed when the outer.
In minutes you can combine two different frame pair lengths to assemble your own custom wood frame nbsp.
You need 80 teeth or more to cut picture frame moulding.
When complete the glass picture and backing will be flush with the outer frame.
Sand the picture frame then wipe away any sawdust with a damp cloth.
Lay out three layers of the hardboard.
Most power saws come with a 40 tooth blade.
